Two Segments With The Highest Influence To Walmart Organization And Its Industry Demographic segment These are observable features and genetics of any given population. These include the growth level, sex, age race, and ethnicity, among others. The fact that Walmart operates at a global level; therefore, the demographic segment needs to be analyzed globally. Walmart utilizes its wealth of inventory and sales to segment based on the segment. This allows the organization to market-specific aspects like age and ethnicity (Chowdhury, 2016). Sociocultural segment Sociocultural factors tend to impacts the lifestyle, beliefs, and values of the society where the business is situated. For instance, the high number of women customers compared to the men, the high number of temporary workers in the organization, and deep concern on the healthy environment and lifestyle. If Walmart does not carefully analyze the products they are selling; then the organization could end up failing on the issues of customers satisfaction. This can be a way to the downfall of the organization. The continued growth of suburban communities is the major cultural trend in Walmart (Chowdhury, 2016). People residing in these regions have a high chance of limiting their expansion. Sociocultural segments are greatly influential when it comes to the expansion of businesses. Therefore, they can also have a direct impact on the overall industry as the share of Walmart in the business industry is too big. Two (2) Forces Of Competition Walmart, being the largest retailer in the Us and is the largest in terms of organizational size. Walmart has always posses an upper hand when it comes to the management of suppliers and customers. When it comes to the five forces, Walmart is well-positioned in the retail industry.
