Career planning aims at equipping the first year nurses with the necessary information with regard to the advancement of their careers. Providing information on how to achieve certifications in their area of expertise through providing them with the resources necessary to plan their careers will help them in career development. Career development will reduce the turnover rates as employees feel secure working with an organization that focuses on their career development.
