The following examines the values and beliefs of two global corporations: Daimler Trucks North America’s (DTNA) and Google. Despite differences in industry (DTNA: Truck Manufacturing, Google: technology), their espoused values are very similar. The perceived similarities extracted from each companies’main website reveals two companies creating products and services with the customer in mind aswell as contributing to the welfare of people.Daimler Trucks North AmericaDaimler Trucks North America has a host of information regarding community service, environmental awareness, diversity and inclusion, innovation and technology, and sustainable solutions to both the trucking industry and global communities. Their vision statement reads, ‘At Daimler, we are committed to excellence. To facilitate, enable, and sustain this commitment, we want to create and live a culture of excellence. This culture is characterized by values the board of management discussed and agreed upon: Passion, Respect, Integrity and Discipline’ (Daimler Trucks North America, Vision & Values). The website’s content suggests an organization built upon commitment, innovation, honesty, and community responsibility with a diverse culture of individuals working in harmony designing and innovating customer-centric solutions. One example exemplifying team-based public service found on the 'Sustainability' web page are pictures of employees engaging in community service picking up trash along Portland,

This example shows a belief system that supports the idea of employees giving back to the community is of the utmost importance to overall success. Google's products, like Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Connected Home, and Google Wifi, shows a commitment to helping others through technological innovation.
