for the better and teach students how to deal with societal change (McGregor, 2019). Teaching for social justice help teachers with the elimination of discrimination and it also helps them identify social problems within the educational institutions. This will allow all students a fair chance in education; regardless of the many social problems they may be dealing with. They won’t be discriminated against because of their race, sex, nor their learning disabilities; it will actually enhance diversity and create a change. The students will then begin to trust the teachers and vice versa; if the students are facing social problems that the teacher may not notice, they may be comfortable enough with the teacher to reach out for help. In the past students were not treated equally and many inequalities existed. Students were discriminated because of their race and gender.
