Note: You can choose to work with one or two partners. You and your partner(s) will create one trebuchet for testing and one report for grading. II. Written Report (25 points) Within this written report there should be six main sections A. Design Research (3 points) (1 – 2 pages in length) (minimum of 500 words) This section should include evidence of the research you performed in designing your trebuchet. Discuss the following: o Brief history on trebuchets and their usage o How trebuchets work (i.e. physics) in general and the fundamental parts of your trebuchet o Mention the factors you considered when designing your trebuchet This may include references to books, magazines, or websites you used. Here are some websites I suggest: The Grey Company Trebuchet: The Trebuchet Resource site: PBS and Nova's Trebuchet Page: Virginia Military Institute builds a Trebuchet: B. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
