lady in reception who was willing to answer my questions and help me with the assignment. She explained the basic rules I stater prior and she gave some examples related to the bible justifying their actions and the reason for each behavior. I’ve experienced a synagogue before this one and I had the luck to see a service for a little bit and all I could hear was the rabbi singing. Judaism for me has always been really interesting due to my cultural background. Being part of a Jewish family is fun and entertaining. None of my family practice Judaism anymore it was more the oldest generation such as my grandfather and his brothers who sadly already passed. The tradition stopped since nobody practiced it anymore but my mom and uncles stilll remember the traditions from when they were kids. Now that I understand a little bit more about what they do is admiring how Jews love their religion and respect every aspect of it. Their rules are non-negotiable and they will do or stop doing things that their religion commands. All the little details and rules that for us are so old fashioned for them is a way of living. The main difference between Christians and Jews culturally speaking is the simplicity of a Christian. For us is so simple to communicate with God and to be in His presence without any procedure or type of clothing or anything. I’m able to appreciate that more now that I can see how hard is for others to enjoy and encounter God.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
