is insecure and noisy in manufacturing buildings. But if the price is not a big issue I would recommend the led fiber optics where noise interference is minimum and highly secured. 2. Speed: As our requirements is 2Mbps minimum, I recommend using twisted pair category 5-7, which has more than 100mbps data transmission rate. Optical fiber are costlier here so I wouldn’t consider it for the just sake of our requirement of speed. 3. Expandibility and distance: Led optics has more distance coverage of speed around 300 meters but I would suggest using it through twisted pair from (5 to 7) and using router or repeater to cover the distance of our whole building as they are relatively very cheap now a days. (Note repeater is used to maximize the signal amplitude or voltage or level while transmitting to longer distance. 4. Securtiy, Environment and Noise: If the building has high voltage or EMI radiating machines then they are likely to produce big noises, so it can lead to cross talk and poor signal connectivity and slow network as well. If the building has top security protocol of data then Led-optical cable is best option as it is very secured and has very less noise reception than wired cable.
