Highlight the top text "Bob's Bakery" and delete it. Keep your cursor in the position where the text just was at the top. Hit the Align left icon in the Secondary Format Toolbar. 40. Open in Chrome. Download banner.jpg into lab04/act2/images . 41. Insert an image in that spot. Browse for banner.jpg in lab04/act2/images . Make sure the relative URL checkbox is checked. Set the Title and Alternate text to "Bob's Bakery banner". 42. Click File > Save. 43. Go back into WinSCP. Connect to the Gaul webserver if you are not still connected from before. 44. In the Remote side, go into lab04 (you may have to step up one level if you are currently inside the act1 sub-folder). Create a new sub-folder (directory) called act2 . 45. In the Local side, navigate to lab04/act2 . Select all the files and the images folder inside act2 on the Local side and drag them across and drop them inside the act2 folder on the Remote server side. 46. In Chrome, open: youruserid /lab04/act2/ where youruserid is your own Western username. 47. Check that the banner image shows up properly. If not, double-check that you made the filepath relative when inserting it.

17 Activity 3 Hyperlinks Hyperlinks, often shortened to links , are one of the fundamental features of websites. They are how we connect webpages within a site, as well as pointing to other websites. There are several types of links: internal, external, email, images, downloadable files, and bookmarks. This activity will introduce you to these different kinds of links. Page titles 1. Go into the File Explorer and navigate to F:/cs1033/lab04 . 2. Create a new sub-folder called act3 . 3. Go into act2 and select all the files and folders (CTRL+A should select everything) within it. Hit Ctrl+C to copy (NOT a cut) these files. 4. Now go out of act2 and into act3 . Hit Ctrl+V to paste the files here. 5. Go into BlueGriffon again. 6. Click File > Open File and navigate to F:/cs1033/lab04/act3 . Select index.html and click Open. 7. Close the old tab on the left from act2 (right click on the tab and select Close Tab) 8. Open in Chrome. Download all the files in this folder to lab04/act3/images . 9. Go into BlueGriffon. Push File > Save As. Make sure the location is pointing to lab04/act3 . Save this file with the name products.html . Note: always make your webpage files have file names that are all lowercase letters and contain no spaces in them. This will make building your links easier. 10. Push File > Save As again and save it this time with the name contact.html . 11. Use File > Open File to open all 3 of these files (index.html, products.html, and contact.html) from act3 as tabs in BlueGriffon.
