the followers" (Lunenburg, 2012). In other words, the president, director, or chief executive officer of an organization can give the orders within an organization and can be sure that his/her commands will be executed. "A leader high in legitimate power gets the compliance of others because they feel that this person has the right, by virtue of position, to expect that suggestions will be followed" (Lunenburg, 2012). When those high in the legitimate power provide directives, we, the followers in that organization, follow and carry out those directives. We do not argue for one reason because those up the ladder are not corrupt, and they do not abuse their powers also because moral convictions rule them. They pride themselves on ethics and morality, which makes employees. Thus, I would not recommend any other strategy because I believe that this method truly works. One can label leadership as transactional or transformational. "Transactional leaders focus on the role of supervision, organization, and group performance" (Kark et al., 2018). They place great importance on the existing conditions as well as the daily progression toward objectives. In contrast, Transformational leaders aspire to improve followers' impetus and participation by guiding their behaviors towards a collective vision. While transactional leadership works inside current margins of procedures, designs, and objectives, transformational leadership defies the present condition and is change orientated. "The transactional leadership style of leadership is more concerned about the normal flow of operations. This type of leadership also gives incentives to motivate employees and keep them happy" (Kark et al., 2018).Thus, this is a kind of leadership that is not focused on the organization's long-term state. It simply regards the day-to-day operations of the firm and guaranteeing the smooth running of
LEADERSHIP 6everything. Otherwise stated, transactional leaders are task-and-outcome-oriented. This leadership is most productive when considering exact timing and resource limitations. In highly-detailed ventures, this method sticks to how things stand and utilize a type of administration that closely monitors employees and they carry out their responsibilities. I find that this approach is highly effective in my organization regarding projects, deadlines, and meeting daily quotas. It almost ensures that everything goes according to plan with such close management, and there areno delays with limited mistakes.Transformational leadership aims to increase employee motivation and participation and connect employees' self-regard with the organization's values. This leadership style accentuates being exemplary role models, so followers can coincide with the vision and values of the leader. "A transformational approach focuses on individual strengths and weaknesses of employees and on enhancing their capabilities and their commitment to organizational goals, often by seeking their buy-in for decisions" (Charbonneau, 2004). In my organization, this approach is highly effective because they do not always stick to the script. Leadership continuously tries to find different ways to reinvent themselves to find new avenues to realize organizational goals.
