Anikina 3 almost everyone that she was right, and she knew how to express her thoughts correctly. She was everything in front of everyone, but to be this childish as if she was ten again, she could allow this in front of my father only. Now I can see -- it was beautiful. I could not forget the fact that my mother, who was so cold and unnaturally calm in any situation, suddenly burst into tears because of the usual vase. For five-year-old me, it was unbearably strange. Usually, when such things happened -- I broke lots of things in our house -- she would get angry, give me couple flip flop slaps, and sometimes she would make me mop the floor. But later, our friendly family would go to IKEA. We would pick some other things to replace ones I broke, and particularly not worrying much. “Crying is a weakness,” I thought. After all, strong people don't cry. But my mother showed me something else. Tears are things that have nothing to do with whether you're weak or strong. Tears are what we feel at a certain moment. And to feel anything is always wonderful, even if these feelings are unbearable pain. It means you are alive. As for a weakness, tears have nothing to do with it. If it were, it would be too easy. Weakness or strength is rather determined by the actions we take in a given situation. Strength is the ability to make the right decisions and think straight in the most tricky moments when others do not know how to make the right decision. You can do it even if you have tears in your eyes.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
