and psychological needs in the context of prestige. Regarding the drive to bond, many employees need to feel that they are valued as the most important assets in an organization. This drive is of great importance when employees are involved in decision-making processes and are inspired to contribute to common goals. The drive to comprehend revolves around the need to learn and grow while meeting new challenges that lead to further career development. Finally, the drive to defend motivates employees to fight for what is rightfully theirs. The concept of employee motivation has received lots of attention from researchers, who over time, have developed classical theories that have significantly revolutionized how employees are motivated and treated. For example, Taylor’s Scientific Management theory standards out as an approach to improving employees' efficiency through the scientific study of their work and the provision of financial incentives to boost their performance. Hawthorne effect provides organizational research-related insights that employees are likely to change their work- related behaviors when they are studied and subjected to special treatments.
