lay in the grass, typing away. I spat out ten pages by the time it was about midnight (coming inside for dinner, of course), and honestly, they were just terrible. Throughout high school, after this horrible research process, I learned more and more. Now, as a sophomore in college, I’m realizing the true
work and effort that is required when it comes to a research topic. While I do not have a final question for our research proposal just yet, I do know that I am researching the topic of women in the workplace. From the work I’ve done up to this point, I think my question will be something along the lines of, “What is the effect on women of modern- day standards (stereotypes, expectations, harassment situations) in the workplace?” It does need some fine-tuning, but I’ve come a long way since we began our journey. I’ve taken in a lot of literature, learned a great deal of new information, and even found some more interests of my own.
