Although the debate continues, the evidence provided shows that President Reagan’s Tax Reform of 1981 has a certain impact on reviving the American economy. Opposing views that tryto pick apart the economic reform that took place in the 1980s. Focusing on one issue and not theissue of the economy as a whole is where these opposing arguments fall short. The effects the Economic Tax Reform of 1981 put into motion was undeniably the first step in Reagan’s Presidency to getting the American economy back on track. Reagan’s bill affected every corner of American life and still does today. President Reagan delivered on his campaign promise and created a prosperous and thriving American economy as President of the United States.
