cares about their academics and grades, I began to panic as I was told I would be missing school for a couple of weeks. So there I was settled in the hospital bed were I would be celebrating my birthday. Oh and Christmas too, can’t forget about that. Fun times. No, those weeks at the hospital were not fun or amusing, but my mom stayed with me theentire time. We were put into a completely foreign and horrifying situation but, I can say it brought me closer to my mom. Her lullabies when I couldn't sleep at night, and all I could do was whine and cry, her helpful and patient hand when I had to take freezing showers with EKG stickers on my body, her reassuring smile when the doctors came in for discussions during rounds. Everything bad in this case turned to everything that made a little more sense. I wish to pursue my dreams of becoming a nurse even more, as the nurses made my stay at the hospital much more enjoyable and manageable. But now I wish to value my mother as the greatest nurse of all, despite any medical or school experience whatsoever, but the experience of pure love is what qualifies her to be the best nurse in my eyes, I wish to be as patient, as loving, as good of a nurse as her one day, as good of a mother.
