What influence did this person have on the development and evolution of jazz music?(5 pt) Louis Armstrong contributed to the revolution of jazz and the trumpet being used as a solo instrument. Louis Armstrong and his bands are regarded as some of the finest jazz recordings in history. He himself knocked The Beatles off the charts at their number one spot. Armstrong was also a skillful improviser, a hard skill to master, and a great scat singer as well. In fact, he brought virtuoso singing to jazz. • What is improvisation?
