Consequently, transparency is one of the essential components that enables companies to build trust with customers while maintaining an organization’s brand. When it comes to promotion, employees make the best spokespeople for a company since they have adequate knowledge of the whole information regarding an enterprise. While it is evident that some forms of transparency may have gone wrong, there are many instances that organizations have used transparency successfully. The promotion of transparency at the workplace is an important concept to help keep the affairs of an organization away from third parties. There are many ways that businesses can foster transparency at the place of work. One of the techniques is to educate the employees on how to use social media and the internet appropriately. The reason is that improper usage of the internet leads to the leakage of some important information. Transparency implies the ability to maintain openness, effective communication, and accountability. From the organizations’ viewpoint, it is the degree to which a company makes its stakeholders know more about it for decision making purposes. For instance, an organization needs to share information concerning its products to the consumers so that they can make appropriate resolutions to make a purchase. In addition, investors’ decision to invest in a particular company depends on the information that the enterprise has shared with them. People

If a company maintains those qualities, then it becomes possible for it to have leaders and employees who are accessible anytime when people require their services. Generally, honesty and openness is about disclosing relevant information to the right people, the right way and at the right time. However, when the so called right persons turn out to be conspirators in an organization, then the whole issue of transparency can be ruined. Social media and the internet can be used to provide transparency in services in many ways. One of the strategies is the use of word of mouth. In the eyes of the consumer, social media gives brands the power to elicit a personal look into their operations especially if the social media is the consumers’ preferred medium for communicating with businesses.
