Worked with the
housekeeper.
Followed the
housekeeper and tidy
dirty rooms.
Because guests have just
left, those rooms were
untidy. I had to clean the
floor, mini bar, and
bathroom; change the
sheet, the bed cover, the
duvet, the pillow case,
the face towel, the bath
towel…. After one hour

cleaning up, those rooms
were totally perfect. I
am sure that they are so
comfortable to rest. This
task is quite easy but I
still feel tired.

30 th , 2016
Had a day off. The interns came to
the Hotel then go
home because the
Hotel lost the power.
Because of the power
cut, we do not have
important things to do,
too; we were allowed to
go home.

31

Worked with the
accountant.
The accountant asked
the interns for
compiling data, sales
of this month.
We summarized data
from bills, books to
computer data. We use
Excel to process data. It
is quite strange for me
because I am not really
familiar with Excel. It is
actually a useful
software. Besides, I
found out that the Hotel
does not have too many
guests but its business
still remains stable. The
Hotel gets monthly
profit at medium level.
Fri, April 1 st ,

Came to the Hotel and
took the job as usual.
The interns run errands
for the Hotel’s staff.
We went around and
observed the whole
Hotel. After that we
reported to the room
division manager which
rooms need to clean.
Today is April Fool’s
day so we had some
excited white lie and
joke.

seminar. The interns
had to clean
conference room,
prepare related
materials, drinks and
pastry.
The seminar was
perfectly well-organized.
I was strongly impressed
on Mr. Kien who
presented Life insurance
Products at this seminar.
His voice is so sweet
and smooth; his attitude
is totally confident and
attractive. Especially, he
has so sharp-tongued
that everyone was
convinced. Through the
seminar, I have learnt
how to present
effectively.

Came to the Hotel and
took the job as usual.
The interns run errands
for the Hotel’s staff.
After cleaning the
reception area, I helped
Mrs Giang reply a mail
from the VITOURS
company - a Da Nang
travel agency. They sent
a mail to book rooms for
their guest who come
from Da Nang city.
Because this mail is in
Vietnamese, this task is
easier than translating
the English fax of Thai
travel agent. I had a
chance to practice what I
had learnt to write an
email.
Wed, April 6 th ,

Welcomed
businessmen from
HCM city.
They registered a room
while they go on a
business trip in two
I think they are
successful businessmen
because their appearance

days. The manager
required the interns to
led them to their room.
looks so elegant and
knowing. They are likely
to be very busy. After
receiving their room,
they left all day. They
seem to only stay at the
Hotel at night.
