so because of incentives. Incentives are often added to items to increase our influence in buying them.” 1 A great example of an economic incentive in today’s market is from my own company, Coastal Bath & Body. In order to increase sales of our natural goat milk soaps, I offer a free bar of soap to customers when they purchase three bars of soap at regular price. I find this is a great way to get customers to buy more than one bar of soap at a time. Another incentive we use is to simply discount our products at the local farmer’s markets, as well as, to offer a permanent 10% discount to our return customers. People love to save money and our total sales are much greater when we offer “deals” to move the product, yet still making a good profit. It is a beneficial tool to both the consumer and the business owner. Proverbs 16:26 says “Appetite is an incentive to work; hunger makes you work all the harder” (Holy Bible, MSG). We can easily see that nearly all people react to incentives, whether they are positive or negative incentives. As Christians, we need to keep the ultimate incentive in our minds every day when we wake up; to share the Gospel with as many people as we can, in order to help God save as many souls as possible. 1 Retrieved from

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
