The textbook states that, the significance of anticipation guides can be long-drawn-out into the after reading portion of the lecture by the repetition of the process after the reading, taking in consideration the input of the reading; this outcomes in a grouping of anticipation and reaction guide. (Roe, 2019). Since Lamar clearly has a deficiency in reading comprehension, it is imperative for me to utilize guided questions with him through out the reading. ask questions, he will make sure to read more carefully and attentively, because he knows that running through the text results in not knowing what he read. Another way I can teach Lamar to retain information from the text in a proficient technique will be by, instructing him on self- questioning on why things happened, or things are.
