ACCT 116  M ANAGERIAL  A CCOUNTING  F OUNDATIONS homework grade. No homework assignments will be accepted late for any reason. Students having difficulty with the course material and concepts are urged to attempt additional, self-assigned problems to reinforce the chapter concepts. Additional assignments can be assigned, if necessary. The student is the best person to determine the amount of work needed to successfully grasp and understand course concepts. The maximum homework points available to be earned towards your grade are 150 points. Quizzes: There will be five quizzes, each worth 30 points, consisting of multiple-choice questions. Your five quiz grades will count towards a maximum of 150 points. The quizzes may be manual handouts in class or they may be completed online during class on the day the quiz is scheduled per the course schedule. Due dates are indicated in Connect. Scores and feedback are available after the due date. There are no make-ups for the quizzes and a zero grade will be given for any missed quizzes. Individual Case : I will assign a case study to be analyzed and discussed individually. This case is due week 8. The purpose of this assignment is for you to think about current issues and relate managerial accounting topics to those issues. I will assign the case midway through the quarter. More details will be provided later.
