Pineda Vazquez 11The only way to protect and maintain the funding of Planned Parenthood is to raiseawareness of the bills that threaten women’s rights and to break away from the stigma associatedwith this organization. The public's view on Planned Parenthood’s reputation can be changed byinforming the public on how this organization benefits the community and the services providedby this organization. Overall the defunding of Planned Parenthood would be a setback inwomen’s fight for rights because Planned Parenthood is there to provide family planning advice, help women control their fertility, and care for the overall wellbeing of women’s health.
