Free online visual creation tools such as Canva are very simple to use. They allow the user to create still visuals, ranging from infographics to Instagram posts, and prove to be a more efficient and budget-conscious way to create content. 4. Interactive content Interactive content comes in many forms. The most commonly used are polls & surveys, questionnaires and assessments. These allow users to get a sense of their tastes and preferences in relation to other people with overlapping preferences. Assessments allow users to more clearly understand a part of themselves in relation to the services provided by the organisation. Part of being human is the urge to test oneself, compete against others, share knowledge, and indulge in curiosity; which is why interactive content is extremely effective. By implementing interactive content, bloggers can renovate their simple blogs into a way to generate sales leads. Interactive content also includes live streaming, where a customer base becomes the organisation’s audience, allowing the presenter to answer customer questions and share recent updates. 5. User-generated content An organisation’s customers are often their biggest asset. Customers can now further enhance their impact on an organisation’s reputation by offering valuable reviews and recommendations that their peers can consider when deciding between suppliers. There are many tools available to assist organisations to receive a higher number of reviews, such as WordPress Customer Review and Yotpo. Organisations can promote these service evaluation tools on a blog, website or even their social media profile in order to encourage fans and existing customers to share their experience. Other tools like TINT and ReadyPluse are useful user-generated content (UGC) sharing programmes. They help create, place and moderate streams of UGC on your website. Many organisations are utilising consumer competitions to further enhance their UGC, such as an Instagram photo competitions, which the organisation can then use as part of their own blog and marketing campaign. 6. Content marketing budgets increasing As more brands recognize the importance of content marketing in their market strategy, budgets to execute these strategies will continue to increase.
