It seems as if we have the lockdown on commercials and that avenue. We need to include tactics that we have not used in the past. The options are so endless, we will need to hone down our marketing strategy and how we will share this with our consumers. First, we will do what we have always done and is clearly working for brand recognition (as you can see from all the surveys), we will make some commercials. The first should be teasers sharing we have a new product rolling out. Share the health benefits, the new consumers this will open up for our product, but still sharing we are still us, we still alleviate the systems and are a multi-symptom medicine. Commercials showing how it is safe for children and for the elderly, grandma and baby can both take this medicine now and get that relief. Commercials focused on the formula and our new market will be our first part of the rollout. Next, we look at some social media options. First being ads, we already have amazing commercials, let’s post them through gaming apps, and other apps online. Having our commercials be in their faces, because they have to watch to get the free “tokens” or whatever it is can be such a huge benefit for us. Taking snippets or key phrases from those ads and posting them on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat are also great ways to keep that message carried forward. On that same vein, having blog posts sharing stories of our consumers is a great 10
way to get the message out there, of how it is already working for others and could work for them as well. To get those messages, we should run a contest, “share your cough”, offering coupons for discounts or buy one get one free for sharing their stories and pictures so we can post. Perhaps even having one winner receive a larger prize (to be determined). Lastly is product placement. We need optimal product placement to get the message out to our consumers we havechanged gears and removed the alcohol. End cap displays will be the way to put us front of mind during this first quarter rollout period. Allround’s current adverting agency brand is “Brewster, Maxwell, and Wheeler (BMW). This agency is known for its high-quality work but charges a 15% commission on media placements” (Kinnear, 2019). We received two other offers however; they do not provide the same quality as BMW.
