Specifically, the national parks have experienced a rise in temperature; this has forced animals to relocate to environments that can accommodate their needs (Meador, 2018). Even though the U.S. is spearheading talks on global warming, some organizations are contributing to climate change by engaging in activities that disregard calls by the government to protect the environment. On the contrary, the U.S. government has introduced policies that will protect woodpeckers as they are now considered an endangered species. Mainly, the country is collecting information concerning the woodpeckers and will introduce it to recommend the best measures to contain the situation.
