These records help establish a historical and accurate account of action and thoughts. Imagine that Okonkwo keeps a record of his seven years in Mbanta. Create a diary based on the events in Chapters 14-19. You should submit a minimum of seven entries. Include your inference from the text, Okonwko’s known personality traits, and predictions for the future. A DAY ONE sample beginning has been started for you. DAY ONE – YEAR ONE Dear Diary, What a day! Today is my first full day here in my motherland Mbanta, and oh, is it ever taxing on my nerves. I can’t stand to be at the mercy of my uncle, even though I know he has my best interests at heart...
