her laws to transform armed troops from self-defense forces to an attack military. The military strength is evident, especially on critical regional decisions. China is making bold moves and demands on the US occupation of Syria and interference with North Korea. Therefore, the East Asia nations seem to recognize their newfound strength and are willing to exercise it given the opportunity. The changes in East Asia and China have a ripple effect on America’s bilateral relationships with Africa. African nations are turning to the East for funds and bilateral partnerships ignoring the United States and other Western countries. The AU allowed Chinese constructors to build the refurbish their headquarters in Addis Ababa. This move is symbolic of the reverence and respect China is receiving from Africa. The most strained multilateral partnerships are present in the South China Sea. This region has a series of islands to which both China and Japan lay claim. As a result of a robust Chinese navy and Japan’s constitutional amendments, it has become increasingly difficult to solve tensions. Both nations are ready for a war that may force the United States to pick a side and protect its ally. However, it is not easy because China still has not shown any aggression towards the US while Japan remains an ally in the war. The only hope for peace and reason that brings these nations together is the plan to denuclearize North Korea and solve the longstanding standoff between the Koreas. ‘ The “rebalancing” policy is a product of the Obama Administration.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
