from other regions. Having said that, there is an infinite amount of regions, and you are able to be in multiple regions at one time. Generalization. 2 main categories we can look at: the physical world (everything minus humans on earth). This would include vegetation, climates, terrains, and biological profile (animals, bugs and shit). Every place however has human or cultural features. We can identify regions by the language, the way they dress, ethnicity, race, the diet, religions, and the interaction with nature. Things like different modes of transportation, buildings, unique resource development, landscapes, unique dietary practices, can also define a region. Scale. The scale is talking about how big or small an area is. When we look at a region, you scale it as well to get more information about the type of region. An example of this is dividing a country into 4 different voting regions. After you have made this division, you can generalize which regions voted republican or democratic. Or you can divide the country up by state regions, and identify which states voted republican or democratic. You can than even look at the US as a whole region, and tell which the entire country voted; democratic or republican. The smaller the area, the tighter your generalization will be. The bigger the area, the more exceptions to the generalization there will be. Know Your News and the Left vs. the Right2 major camps of thought: The liberal left and the conservative right. Obviously there is a lot of stuff in the middle, where most people fall. The people who fall dead in the center are called centrists. They use ideas from both camps to solve issues on a day-to-day basis.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
