3. The introvert as a leader is likely to face problems while addressing a group of people because of them being shy nature. This can be overcome by partnering with extraverted people and communicating with people from diverse cultures and personal indulge them at presentations. They can prepare by writing and practice well in advance before they communicate. They should also try to bring innovative ideas for situations instead of being dependent on their followers for advice. They should also be good listeners to engage the communication process so that they are able to grasp information and communicate accordingly.

The introverted leaders should try the following developmental experiences. • Serve as a mentor to colleagues, supervisors or staff members. • Lead a project in an area where the introvert leader is not an expert as compared to other members. • Lead a project that requires innovation and creative ideas. • Actively participate in the human resources processes such as managing people’s issues as well as recruitment of employees. • Speak at a meeting or present at a conference in front of large audiences.
