of the police department that the community would feel that this is a good way of doing so. Police agencies should not want any community to feel targeted because fo the demographics of the neighborhood. Once a police department has Implemented a plan to managed the previous mentioned problems, predictive policing should be successful. The deparments goals of it being cost effective, time effective and crime preventative should be met. Predictive plicing may also c ause ther to be a cohesiveness between neighboring cities police departments, emergency medical services, sheriff departments, costables, and state troopers. This practice has benefits for all pubilic services and local government agencies involved. The United States governement and local government agencies prides iself on history. Government operations being done a certain way because its always been done that way. The private sector is giving the government an outlook on technology and how it can be benificial for business. The government has started to changes its busniess practices and how the community will be served. Technilogical advances such as CompStat has given Police agencies a new way of doing business.
