The money was supposed to go to my mother for my phone bill, which I ended up then not having so I made a deal with my mother to pay interest with owing her. So now I am in all sorts of debt. 17- Mar My child’s grandparents on Sunday morning wanted to take Nevin on this really cool expensive amusement area for child. I was all for it until I was told that it was expensive and I had to pay. Nevin was already so excited about going so I just caved and said yes. It wasn’t my idea to go but I am still the one paying. I was very polite about it but I was still frustrated inside 18- Mar Monday morning I was so tired and I could barely get up for work. My mother left a note on the counter that said I needed to go to Walgreens before I go to work to pick up some stuff for her. It was so last minute and I was so exhausted and I could tell Nevin was too. I decided to call her when she was at work and tell her no that I can’t I am too busy today. It was the first time I stood up for myself and said no in a long time. 19- Mar Around 6pm on Tuesday I sat down with my family and I talked to them. supportive. 20- Mar Nevin and my mom went grocery shopping and came back with what looked like half the store. The entire minivan was filled. I helped bring the groceries and start dinner. Later that night around 8pm my mother told me I had to give her some money for the groceries. I asked why, and she replied that Nevin kept saying he wanted this and that he wanted that so she just bought him everything she wanted but now she was broke so she needs me to give her money for all that. I am on an extremely tight budget and I would of never bought him all those goodies and pops and stuff. I told her I was unable to and that I was sure that he appreciated that his grandmother bought him all that, but it was irresponsible on her part. 22- Mar Fridays are always great days and I really enjoy them for the most part. It was my last day at work for the week and it was going by fast. It was 3:30 and I was ready to clock out and head home for the weekend. As I was leaving one of my new friends at work was telling me how thirsty she was and how she is couldn’t believe she left her money at home and asked if she could have 2 dollars for a drink. I left a bit of kindness go threw me and I caved and bought her a drink. 3A. I don’t know how to say “no” to co-workers when they ask me to pick up their shift or to stay longer. 3A1. Earlier this week my brother wanted money from my mom to get food from a restaurant.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
