How do you plan to pay your monthly rent payment if the price is over your budget? Will you have roommates? How many roommates will you have? How much will each of you have to pay? How would you go about finding roommates? Paragraph 2: How did you determine why it was right for you? What are the pros and cons of this property? Which priorities does this property have? Which priorities does this property lack? What made you choose this property? Who is it owned by? Paragraph 3: Did anything about this assignment surprise you? Why or why not? What will you do differently in the future now that you have this information about renting? The price of the property I chose is $1210. I plan to pay my monthly rent by getting a roommate. We would be able to split rent and we would each only have to pay $605. I would find roommates by asking my friends or reliable people who would pay their rent to live with me. I determined the second option was right for me because it was cheaper and it was bigger. It had two bathrooms unlike the first one. Pros are that it includes a pool and playground. Cons are that it is in a very bad neighborhood. This apartment does have parking and windows/lighting. This apartment lacks a good location. This apartment is owned by Cambridge Park Apartments. When attempting this assignment, I didn’t realize that renting an apartment would be of such high cost. I always thought it’d be cheaper. Even when finding an apartment in a bad area, I would still have to get a roommate to split the costs. This assignment surprised me in this aspect. In the future, I will work hard to make more money to afford a better living space for myself.
