vii ABSTRACT This research had as general objective: Identify and describe the characteristics of the financing and training of micro and small enterprises in the trade sector - I category supply of computer equipment - Chimbote, 2014. The research was quantitative - descriptive, for was chosen to carry it out so directed a sample of 10 Mypes of a population of 20, who were applied a questionnaire of 28 closed questions, using the survey technique; with the following results: For employers: 100% of the legal representatives of MSEs are adults surveyed, 60% are male and 30% have completed university higher education. Regarding the characteristics of the Mypes: 90% of MSEs surveyed has a history of more than 3 years in the business category, 50% have a permanent worker and 60% do not have any casual worker. On financing: 70% of MSEs surveyed obtained funding from third parties, 70% of the funding it received from non- banks, 100% received the requested credit and 90% said the loans received were invested in capital work. Regarding training: 60% of MSEs surveyed received training before granting credit, 40% received training in the last two years, 70% believe that training is an investment and 70% believe that training it is relevant to your company. Finally, it is concluded that more than 2/3 (70%) of MSEs surveyed for their business financial credit requested third and slightly less than 2/3 (60%) received training prior to granting such credit.
