American states and women were working day and night ensure both federal ,state and private agencies in the country got to know that it was time for change and freedom had to be felt by each party in the country .Women rights movement had now brought and the society had no recognized that women were on a transformational move to ensure they got the best from the society. After women won the voting rights on 1920,women rights movement got lots of power and energies top continue advocating for more recognition in the society .During this time women

wanted to be represented in various political positions in the country and the only ploy they had was to elect women representatives so that their grievances can be addressed effectively by the congress. During 1919 revolution took place and National American Woman Suffrage Association changed to League of Women Voters so that women can be in the forefront to cast votes and ensure all the votes are channeled to the right candidate. Women’s Bureau of the Department of Labor came in place on 1920 with the aim gathering data and information about the conditions which working women were subjected to in the society. American women gathered efforts and conducted various lobbying activities so that they can secure laws protecting women from any form of abuse and poor working conditions across the country. Women started to claim for protection and better facilitation in various working stations so that they can be in a position to increase production and earn better payments. Alice Paul brought in a major revolution in the struggle for human rights in America when she brought in a proposal on the amendment of the American constitution. Alice Paul brought in the so called “Equal Rights Amendment” which advocated for equally in the society .In the amendment Alice claimed that all federal and states laws were applicable to both men and women in America on equal grounds and no body would be treated in any special manner since both women and men had the mandate of bringing change in the country .In the amendment Alice wanted all an amendment to be introduced in the American constitution so that men and women have the same level of access to opportunities in the country. The amendment was a well balanced proposal since it claimed that if an amendment takes place both women and men should be beneficiaries .therefore women rights movements in America got more power when they got access to voting rights and they could now initiate referendums to amendment the constitution so that men and women can be subjected to fair and equal treatment initiatives in the country.
