College graduates ages 25 to 32 working full time earn $45,500, about $17,500 more than their peers with just a high school diploma.” This means that with a college degree, students are more motivated to work because they are making more money and paying back the taxes that allowed them to make more money. Shouldn’t the future of our economy, our technology, our innovations, be something that money should be thrown at? Imagine a world where, “People would have more freedom to contribute their talents, try new ideas, and pursue the lives they want if they didn’t have to start off in debt or stay stuck in a low- wage job… because they have no degree to get them any further.” (Trade-Schools) That’s a

world where students don’t have to commit to paying their own college tuition, room, and board. Not having to worry about spending limits or having to return home after you get your degree because you’re so swamped in debt allows the students to really enjoy their college. It gives them the chance to go out, make friends, support their teams, and even further accelerate their education and get a higher degree. In the words of Larisa Oleynik, “College inspires you to think differently, view differently, love differently, and really find yourself. It’s like no other time in your life.” In conclusion, a college education funded by tax dollars would allow for a more informed and educated society, and give the future graduates an amazing experience, and an advantage when applying for jobs and starting a life.
