Environment and Housekeeping: Room featured a broken chair, dirty windows, and not enough light for reading. Nurse sent reading lamp, but it was broken. Never fixed or replaced. Waste baskets were not emptied. Cope 5 Case P were thin and worn. Room temp was either too hot or too cold. When arrived in new unit, there was no holder for cardiac monitor. Patient had to carry cardiac monitor for several hours. Patients belongings were not transferred with him, and it took several hours and calls to get them back. to ensure the patient is satisfied with his room and housekeeping. However, probably overlooks this issue because they are busy with other things but every aspect of each patient, he/she handles needs to be taken into consideration and taken seriously. temps are suitable to their needs and can be adjusted whenever need be. Transferring of patients from unit to unit needs to be smoother both on depending on the new wing and previous wing. Needs to reassess the condition of each room ensuring that nothing is broke or dirty and meets their standards. Food Service: Food was never seasoned, sometimes delivered late, and sometimes to the wrong room. Dietary manager advised wife of patient to ask the nutritionist to provide a new meal.
