Harvard. Jerome later introduced Piaget's work to the USA in1956. The introduction of Piaget's ideas into the Unites States saw the education of the USA integrating those ideas on how to teach children to think. His theories on child development stages from birth to maturity developed by experiments are still used today in the development of stimulus-response theory by behaviorist scholars. His appointment as the Director of the International Bureau of Education (IBE) in 1929,saw him give substantial speeches that addressed international education maters. These ideas are still used till to-date. As a director, he spearheaded and advocated for the importance of education especially to the children. Having served as a senior professor at the university of Geneva Piaget was appointed to be the chief consultant in two big conferences at the universities of Cornell and California in 1964, these conferences addressed issues related to infusion of cognitive studies into education curriculum. c) A comprehensive presentation of her or his contributions to psychology, chronologically described. d) Analysis of the current status of the person's legacy contribution (e.g. controversy vs acceptance/agreement).
