SWOT AnalysisThe SWOT analysis examines the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of a company that enhances its success and sustainability. i.Strengths Kobayashi and Wright (2018), states that the major strengths of Apple, in this case, include the global recognition of the company products and brand by customers. It has gainedsuch a position and reputation due to reliability in terms of personalization of advanced computers and exceptional technology. According to the 2018 report, the company’s premarket closure was $169.60/+1.11 (+0.66%), and the premarket started at 171.0/+1.60 (0.94%). Secondly, top technology possession is another strength that gives Apple a priority since it is the first to bring into existence some innovations that have had a significant changeto the world. Apple also operates a solution offering page that provides solutions to every need of corporations, thus making it a brand of choice to many. Also, Apple has made its sustainability possible through its recycling process by use of a robot, thus making reuse of the essential parts of the dissected iPhones. ii.WeaknessesThe weaknesses of the company include the failure of the company to invest in marketing and other promotional activities for its products, thus losing the possible attention they would create to customers. Additionally, lack of competition is another weakness of Apple Inc. whereby the company doesn’t really venture into competing with its rivals. Rather,the company focuses on its existing customers without implementing competitive forces. High priced products of the company make the company to focus on a small number of

Finally, the company’s failure of being compatible with other software has caused a problem whereby customers face a great challenge since the company’s devices do not support other software. It may lead to loss of some customers.iii.Opportunities The company has opportunities in which it has potentialities to expand its business. They include professional who are highly qualified, thus making Apple have the ability to adopt innovation in an attempt to differentiating its products. Apple can also use its available professionalism in the form of innovation to create new products as a means of diversification. Apple also has a gradual customer growth which enables it to expand its business to the new customer base, thus increasing its profitability. iv.Threats Consequently, Apple is faced by some threats that reduce its potentiality in the growthand sustainability. They include increasing rate of competition whereby competitors are bringing in more low-priced products that substitute the high-priced Apple products thus threatening Apple’s sales volume as well as market share. Relatively low market penetration is another consistent threat of Apple since its main software competitor service, Android has the greatest share in the market possessing 72.23% while Apple has only 24.55%.
