The senior management has a responsibility for applying Six Sigma program to make a firm become more competitive. A senior executive as the “Champion” will lead a process improvement using the following DMAIC model, including defining, measuring, analyzing, improving and controling. Furthermore, the Six Sigma tools will be applied for speeding up product improvement and commercialization cycles by the senior management team.When deploying Six Sigma, the human resource management also adopt the new strategy of the program.As any organization, human resources have always played the important role in determining the success of any project or strategy of 3M.
