If the true church is the pillar and foundation of truth, it is certain that no church can exist where lying and falsehood have gained sway (p.313) Rather than preaching the ministry of the Word, a troublesome government comprised of lies took over, destroying the genuineness of the Church (p.313) The Church behaved in such a way that, if somebody even slightly deviated from its standards, than he would be claimed a heretic or schismatic (p.314)

The people that that corrupted the Church only care about defending their own cause rather than taking notice of the truth, having no honest claims (p.314) They speak arrogantly and disregard places such as Africa, Egypt and all Asia, where significant events occurred. They also make the Greeks schismatic’s, since they say that the church perished among them (p.314) God disputes with the Romanists that he is ready to keep the covenant, but when they do not reciprocate, they deserve to be repudiated (p.315) Calvin finds no reason as to why people should want to deceive the Church; we should honor it (p.316) The Lord’s Supper Christ is the only food of our soul, and our Father invites us to feast, so we can gather strength until reaching immortality (p.321) We are enabled to eat from the body to partake in salvation (p.322) When godly souls see people growing from the sacrament of the Eucharist, it is taken into consideration of God’s benevolent gift of afterlife (p.322) Civil Government The vice in civil government can be seen by people’s intentions. For instance, some think they cannot benefit from freedom, unless there is power set up over them (p.324) The purpose of this government is to protect and prevent people from harm (p.325)

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
