EDUCATIONAL AUTOBIOGRAPHY 4 After getting some cash, I took my first child in a local school that provided both general and special education. After some time I was invited to work there in the special education department. I got to learn about the special treatment that these students need and the role teachers play in their success. My job was to help the students to do basic things such as bathing and dressing. I got to meet many students most of which had autism. The teachers in the school were very supportive, and they treated all the children equally. The school administration struggled to make sure that the each student's special needs were taken care of. All stakeholders worked together to make sure the school's mission was a success. Through the support of well-wishers, I got a scholarship that enabled me to pursue my post -secondary education. During my undergraduate studies, I worked as an intern in the District 75 body. I took part in the implementation of a project that promoted the enrollment of children who had autism in various academic institutions. It involved moving around the districts while educating parents about the importance of taking such children to school. The management team was so impressed with the same, and they promised to offer me a job immediately I was done with my studies. They kept their promise, and since I got through with my undergraduate studies, I have been working as a paraprofessional in the organization for the last four years. I am now pursuing my Masters in the Tri certification for early childhood learners with disabilities with bilingual extension in education.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
