like her, had prior obligations during the time of the project, such as work, school, vacations and more. She always contacted the group in a timely manner to get the ball rolling, giving everyone enough time to respond since all group members were running on different schedules. Her ability to work well in a group environment lead us to communicate in an adequate manner. Mustafa expanded his knowledge skills throughout this assignment when he presented his prior knowledge of our chosen topic at the beginning of the semester. He also explained that he has done a project similar to this and had some ideas so we avoid any difficulties he experienced before. allowed for the group to have a more clear understanding of what we were looking for within our research. Violet demonstrated a development of technical skills while working on this project. When our group had issues with communication and schedules, Violet suggested we give each part of the final product its own separate deadline ensuring the entire project is complete by the time we needed to submit it. Some parts of the project relied on the completion of other parts of the project. This is why this process made our team more organized. By suggesting these smaller deadlines, as a group we were able to adjust them according to our personal schedules so that we could complete it on time. Claudia expanded her problem solving skills during the weeks of the project. When the group received somewhat negative feedback on the initial project proposal, she made a point to address why the group may have gotten the feedback they did. By reviewing the requirements of the project she pointed out some differences the group could make for the final product. In addition, whenever a group member would ask a question about something, she would provide her input on how that problem should be solved which triggered others to do the same. Conclusion This semester-long project can easily be used as a resource in learning how to work well with others and develop a strong leadership role. It allowed each group member to see the positives and the negatives of working in a group setting to develop leadership skills that include problem solving, technical, and conceptual skills. Through weeks of hard work and dedication, our group put together a project proposal as well as two separate reports that we are very proud 10
