When will I know how much and what type of aid I am eligible to receive? • The Financial Aid Office at Bethel University should have the results of the student’s application within two weeks after they file the FAFSA. The student will receive a Stu - dent Aid Report (SAR) by email or regular mail from the Department of Education. When the student receives it they can contact our office to see what type of aid and the amount the student is eligible to receive. Why have I not received my Financial Aid paperwork (award package)? • There may be several reasons that the student has not received an award package from the Financial Aid Office. • We have not received the student’s completed FAFSA. • Even though the student may have filed their FAFSA there could be a problem. • It could have been processed incorrectly if the student filed on the Website.
