Before the interviewers conduct the interview, they will prepare a proper planning for the event. The interviewers will interview employee and consumer after interviewing the owner of the book store. This is because owner can provide the schedule of employee and the detail of consumer that interviewers might be interviewing, such as what gender, age or races of consumer is the best suit for interview? who is the customer always come to the book store? who have the most experience in the book store? etc. When interviewers conduct interview, they will do a proper introduction of themselves, project and explain the objective of this interview. Like mention before, the interviewers should approach all interviewees with the professional manner, none of them will treat differently in term of attitude or professionalism. They will engage the listening of the interviewees with the best focus, and interviewers will make sure interviewees had enough time to think about the question and answer with fully understanding. After that, the interviewers will summarize the whole interview to interviewee and seek confirmation from them. Step 6: Document the interview After conducting the interview, interviewers will tend to take the note as minimum as possible. All of the information given by interviewees will be record as quickly as possible to avoid missing any points. The developers would also send a memo to the interviewees to express their appreciation for the events, but inside the memo it should also included the time, location, date, objective of interview and a summary of main discussion point, thus the interviewees can offer an addition or corrections. In conclusion, the objective of this project is to make a new system for Mr. Belmont to substitute his old manual system. By utilizing the interview information gathering method, the developers can get more information to improve theirs understanding for the project. Hence, the company are hoping to build a system that is good enough that can help Mr. Belmont to compete with other competitors.
