Since they were able to save on fuel costs, I can see why somehow they are able to transfer these savings into strengthening and enhancing their services for their customers' ²ying experience - like in your example, free checked bags. I totally agree with you that this is a winning strategy to entice passengers to consider ²ying SWA. Given a choice, I will de³nitely choose having my bags ²y free.
