The assistant will be held responsible for the coordination of where the meetings will take place, recording the meeting minutes, preparation of the agenda, and ordering either food or providing refreshments. The chairmen will be held responsible for the guidance of the committee, member recruitment, and oversight of each and allmeetings.Ensuring cultural diversity within the committee will provide differential perspectives on culturally competent care, and determining if patient centered care through cultural backgrounds is met or not. The more diversity within the committee will aide in more ideas and experiences for determining current problems and finding the best solutions to resolve them. Different backgrounds such as religion, age, race, and gender will allow for a diverse perspective on patient care. With the diverse committee population, there can be a higher ability to be creative and collaborate in finding ways to provide higher satisfaction and better patient care.Transformational leadership allows each member to recognize not only their own, but each others individual needs, strengths, and feelings. This leadership style helps with promoting collaboration and encouragement within the committee to motivate each member to reach their own personal goals. It also inspires individuals to achieve remarkable or unexpected results. Thisleadership style promotes intellectual influence, which encourages each member to problem solve, critically think, and come up with different solutions to different problems (St. Thomas University, 2017). Having strong chairmen or leaders in the committee, can aide the group with positive encouragement and vibes to all members. This will aide in transforming the followers into leaders which can create positive influences for patient care and better outcomes.
