different religions and each of them presents a different truth, they all contradict to each other meaning that one could be true while the other one is false. Post 4 The article by Stanely Fish is about how religion must be perceived in a correct and open way or there could be consequences, such as losing your salvation. Fish uses an analogy “A student or a teacher who comes up with the wrong answer to a crucial question in sociology or chemistry might get a bad grade or, at the worst, fail to be promoted. Those are real risks, but they are nothing to the risk of being mistaken about the identity of the one true God and the appropriate ways to worship him (or her). Get that wrong, and you don’t lose your grade or your job, you lose your salvation and get condemned to an eternity in hell.” I think that Fish is alluding to the fact that many people believe that there is not true religion and Fish believes that if one is not worshipping correctly then that person would be condemned to hell. I most definitely don’t think that he is right because from my understanding God request that people have morals and do not worship a false idol.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
