 Cloud Computing is the better option to exploit recent advances in
software, networking, storage, and processor technologies.
 Cloud consists of a set of hardware and software resources in a single
domain.
 Cloud computing is focused on enterprise computing.
 Cloud provides the illusion of infinite computing resources.
 Cloud eliminates the need for up-front financial commitment.
Dis-advantages of Cloud:
 Availability of service is not available if the service provider doesn’t
provide.
 Vendor Lock-in, once a customer is hooked with one provider, it I s hard
to move to another.
 Data confidentiality and auditability.
 Data transfer bottlenecks.
