(private, community, or public).
Advantages of Cloud:
Cloud Computing is the better option to exploit recent advances in
software, networking, storage, and processor technologies.
Cloud consists of a set of hardware and software resources in a single
domain.
Cloud computing is focused on enterprise computing.
Cloud provides the illusion of infinite computing resources.
Cloud eliminates the need for up-front financial commitment.
Dis-advantages of Cloud:
Availability of service is not available if the service provider doesn’t
provide.
Vendor Lock-in, once a customer is hooked with one provider, it I s hard
to move to another.
Data confidentiality and auditability.
Data transfer bottlenecks.
