C. Instructional Intervention In order to address Bridgett’s constant need for my attention to assure her that she is  doing her assignment(s) correctly during class time, it is necessary to implement an instructional  intervention to keep her on task and not needing constant reassurance. The instructional  intervention that I would implement for Bridgett, and the class, would be a step-by-step  procedure on how to successfully complete Stoichiometry for chemistry homework or any other  scientific subject that was being taught. I would model or demonstrate the steps so that the  students could visualize how Stoichiometry is to be done correctly. Then, I would have a couple  of sample problems prepared, and ask students to go up front to work the problems out on the  board. Bridgett would be one of the students I would ask because it would help her to talk her  way through one of the problems while gaining input from her classmates. By Bridgett being one of the students to come up front, I know that she will be able to learn the correct procedures and  not have to rely on me to always be near her to ensure that she is doing her work correctly.  Additionally, her knowledge could also be utilized to help other students be successful in the  class by being a resource to her classmates. D. Technology to Enhance Teaching When teaching students, there will often be hurdles to overcome, such as students not  being engaged, not being motivated, having difficulty learning, or students not seeing the

4 TASK #1 importance of the subject being taught. In my class, I have Nancy and she has the potential to be  a great student. When she finds a subject interesting or important, she always does a great job.  However, as of late, she has seen her grades slip because she does not see the usefulness of the  ocean and its inhabitants. In order to keep her excited about science, I will need to enhance the  use of technology in order to connect to her more efficiently.

What students are saying

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
