Research questions/problem (your own words) Your own opinion on the problem Supporting arguments/theories/data Benefits of the research For the purpose of this task, your trainer/assessor will play the role of your project manager. Ensure that you maintain the required communication and interaction. The proposal should be word‐processed on A4 sheets, double‐sided with 1.5 spacing. There is no minimum words/length, however, it is expected that it will be contained in no more than four (4) pages. Assessment Criteria Your work will be assessed based on the following criteria. Ensure that you cover all the task requirements. The following criteria must be addressed for this task; Used an appropriate organisational context for the task and maintained the role play Consulted and obtained feedback within the role play Provided a rationale/purpose of the research The rationale is supported by a range of industry data and statistics Developed effective research objectives Objectives are relevant, realistic and measurable against the outcomes Developed a research question based on the given problem Established research need and provided supporting arguments and evidences Adopted a stance on the matter through expression of own opinion Opinion presented is grounded in realistic theory and logic Obtained specialist (trainer/assessor role‐play) need and advice as required Provided an overview of available data/research in the area

Ensure that the task/work is submitted along with an “Assignment Cover Sheet” signed by the student. Assignment Cover Sheet is provided with each Learner’s Guide, and can also be obtained from college’s reception or website.
