The lasting effects of this, is that oil is still caught in the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. There were mutations formed between animals causing eons of ecological problems. Life in the Gulf of Mexico, took a turn for the worst, that still ripples into today. Yet, drilling for oil continues to this day. Every few months there is some type of mistake that is made. On and off the drilling platform these issues arise. In the case of B.P. they still drill for oil. They are still having drilling problems in various locations. They still try to follow the guidelines set in motion by the U.S. government. Sanctions are made and usually followed to the letter. From a moral stand point, they are still hurting the planet and profiting from this situation. A gray area of the law that doesn’t give every detail of the layout of the drilling process. If any business is to profit it must have some type of ethics to follow by. A set of guidelines that must be followed to the fullest extent of the law. The last of these issues is that businesses must change when there is a need for change. Technology is ever evolving into tomorrow’s society. You can’t solve a problem without consulting the ethical resolve. As time progresses, laws will change, and society’s ethics will change with them.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
